At the 2016 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas this November, Mopar® unveiled the release of two new Crate HEMI® Engine Kits. These kits will provide devotees efficient, factory-backed options for putting Gen III HEMI engines into iconic Mopar vehicles, like the Dodge Challenger or Plymouth ‘Cuda, from 1975 and earlier.

The Mopar 345 Crate HEMI Engine Kit bumps the 5.7-liter HEMI engine to 383 horsepower and 425 pound-feet of torque, and the 392 Crate HEMI Engine Kit maintains the 6.4-liter HEMI at 485 horsepower and 472 pound-feet of torque.

Each Crate HEMI Engine Kit includes a power distribution center, powertrain control module, engine and chassis wiring harnesses, accelerator pedal, O2 sensor and in-depth installation information sheets. Designed and optimized for manual transmissions, they may be used with previously purchased 2014 or newer 5.7-liter or 6.4-liter HEMI service engines; customers also have the option to purchase a new HEMI engine and Crate HEMI Engine Kit together.
