Ram 3500 Sets Record for Torque
Whatever you need to haul around Wisconsin, the 2018 Ram 3500 has the power to handle it. The new 3500, which began production in August, has a Cummins 6.7-liter diesel engine that delivers a record-setting 930 pounds-feet of torque.
Ram and Cummins worked together for higher boost limits on the diesel engine through the fuel delivery system to produce an additional 30 pounds-feet of torque. That additional 30 pounds places the Ram 3500 ahead of the competition and maintains the truck's durability and efficiency.
